The Iraqi University of Science Strengthens Academic Cooperation with the Middle Technical University

In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange among higher education institutions, the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the Iraqi University of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Mujbil, conducted an official visit to the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the Middle Technical University.

He was received by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Hussein Mahmoud, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Ameer Jassim Mohammed. During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for academic cooperation and the exchange of scientific expertise.

The visit included discussions on ways to develop and update curricula in line with international standards, as well as emphasizing the importance of strengthening educational institutions and improving the quality of their outputs to meet labor market requirements.

It is worth noting that the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the Iraqi University of Science is a graduate of Monash University in Australia, while the Dean of the College at the Middle Technical University is a graduate of the University of Queensland in Australia. This reflects the depth of academic expertise possessed by both parties and enhances opportunities for joint scientific cooperation between the two institutions.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation in a way that contributes to the development of the educational process and the advancement of the academic level.
