A delegation from the Iraqi University of Science, headed by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mousa Al-Moussawi, visited the Joint Operations Command, where they were received by Lieutenant General Rasheed Faleh Al-Halfi, a security expert.

During the visit, both sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation between the university and security institutions in a way that enhances the scientific and practical aspects and develops areas of mutual collaboration.

The meeting addressed several important topics, most notably establishing a sustainable scientific and academic cooperation mechanism, providing scientific services and consultations to security institutions, and marketing research outcomes to support security and technical fields.

The two sides also discussed the importance of employing university competencies and expertise to support security development projects and benefiting from the academic and research capabilities possessed by the university in various scientific and technological fields.

The visiting delegation emphasized the university’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with security institutions in a manner that achieves integration between academic and practical aspects and contributes to serving society and supporting state institutions.
